Having been associated with ministry in a variety of ways for the majority of her life, Jo serves several positions in the Body of Christ. She views

N-PURSUIT as what she was born to do. She has a degree in Video Production and is a freelance multimedia designer. She hopes to bring the great Word of God to a new audience in a new way - honoring and continuing the legacy which has gone before her.

J.B. Hooper, assistant editor/pastor/contributor

What is there to say about the man that truly does it all. From stuffing and mailing magazines, to building our lighting grid and writing his articles, J.B. is our jack of all trades. After a life in and around ministry, J.B. began his own ministry in 1980. As senior pastor of The Word Center in Frisco, Texas, he has committed his life to reinstating honor and integrity back into the ministry. N-PURSUIT is as much his dream as it is his daughter’s, Jo Elaine. Needless to say, this is a family-based ministry and the ties don’t stop here.

Bob Hooper, contributor/founding member

Bob Hooper is the grandfather of our editor. Jo Elaine credits much of her foundation of faith to the legacy her grandfather and his parents started.

Bob has been the senior pastor of New Life Tabernacle in Little Elm, Texas, since 1981, but has been in the ministry and active in church work since 1950. Born and raised on a farm, Bob has a unique insight into some of the fundamental principles of the Kingdom of God. He shares the Truth of the Gospel in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.

Bill Watson, contributor/founding member

Bill has been the associate pastor of New Life Tabernacle for over 15 years. He is the teacher of the Adult Sunday School Class and actively participates in the music ministry.

Antonio Barksdale, contributor

Antonio Barksdale is a second year medical student at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He and his wife, Chamiera, are active in ministry at Rhema Cathedral of Deliverance Church in Houston, TX. Antonio has been called not only to learn about healing the physical man, but also to edify the spirits of God's people in sincerity! Charles Bledsoe, contributor/founding member

As senior pastor of Victory Tabernacle in Waco, Texas, Charles works with a variety of ministries and groups. He has a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a Masters of Divinity in Christian Counseling. He serves as the Executive Vice-President of Central Christian University in Lexington, North Carolina. While Charles’ work in the ministry can vary weekly from preaching to teaching and organizing to coordinating, his greatest passion remains sharing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world.

Nelson Ligon, contributor/founding member

Nelson, a 25-year veteran of the ministry, is the founder of Executing His Word Ministries. Based in Flowermound, Texas, Nelson also routinely takes small groups to the streets of Dallas, leads groups in street evangelism at Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and organizes outreaches to show Jesus at secular concerts. He has written Executing His Word, a personal training manual for every Christian interested in witnessing and sharing their faith in Christ Jesus. EHW also provides a personal evangelism training conference, called Strategies of War, for local churches interested in carrying out the great commission.

Larry Sitzes, contributor/founding member

Larry Sitzes is an intensely focused worship leader who blesses the Lord through robust, R&B Gospel music. He is a Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and recording artist who brings to the church over 20 years of experience and dedication. Having served in the past as a Worship Pastor, Larry has a lot of insight into the needs of the local church. Clearly, Larry's life has been touched and changed by Jesus Christ. His enthusiasm to share Christ and lead others into His presence has an intense impact on audiences both young and old. He continually portrays a heart after God and a heart for touching people.
